Job Title: Project Management Sr Specialist Client-HealthSpring has an open position within the IT Third-Party Management group for an experienced IT Project Manager that has effectively applied PMP, Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies throughout their career. This role requires a self-starting, detail-oriented individual that can collaborate effectively with an IT team and business stakeholders to facilitate the entire project lifecycle, aptly identifying appropriate requirements, risks, issues, and effectively communicating those to the IT teams, management, and business stakeholders. Experience with Daptiv PPM, Team Foundational Server, Vendor Management Systems, Edifecs, and HL7 Clinical Document Architecture and HIE are strongly desired. The Project Management Sr. Specialist will act as a liaison between Client-HealthSpring IT and its trading partners, third party technical providers, and internal departments in managing and resolving data exchange and or trading partner issues, and facilitating on-boarding activities for new trading partners. This position will also be responsible for documenting and communicating to the business and IT partners of all the related changes, issues, or delays. Those relationships include coordination and collaboration with Sourcing, Contracting, Legal, Provider Relations, Network Operations, Security, Information Protection, and IT Operations to improve organizational 3rd party management capabilities and promote consistent vendor management practices across IT. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Major responsibilities of the position are listed below. To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to execute each essential duty satisfactorily. – Manages delivery of IT products effectively using agile/scrum methodologies – Communicates project status, risks, and issues regularly to IT leadership and business stakeholders – Confers with various departments, executives, and vendors to determine processes, procedures, and business needs related to data exchange and/or trading partner’s transactions. – Organize and keep current all Trading Partner information including data exchange and/or trading partners Specs, master data, and contact information. – Ability to work in conjunction with other members of the Application Support Teams to ensure that Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner requirements are accounted for. – Effective in diagnosing problems, gathering all relevant information, and creating an internal helpdesk tickets. – Create, maintain, and distribute documentation pertaining to Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner application area. – Lead and participate in Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner conference calls to support Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner Application requirements. – Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements. – Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development. – Interprets systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes. – Coordinate with Third Party Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner providers and new Trading Partners to set up new processes and provide optimal level of customer service – Collaborate with trading partners and perform tests on all Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner transmissions – Maintain all documents for trading partner set ups and analyze all customer requirements for processes – Coordinate with trading partners to maintain effective Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner relationships and provide support to all internal departments and vendors. – Manage Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner customer implementations to meet requirements and customer timelines. Preferred Job Requirements: – Ability to work independently with minimal direction toward program objectives – Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical users – Ability to engage and inform geographically dispursed staff – Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills with attention to detail – Strong knowledge/experience with Medicaid – Familiarity with Daptiv PPM, Edifecs, Team Foundational Server (TFS), and Vendor Management Systems – 3+ years healthcare exchange and/ or trading partner claims processing experience preferred. – Experience with Data Exchange and/or Trading Partner standards including 837I, 837P, 837D, 834, 278, 270, and 271, and HL7 CDA/ADT (HIE) – Familiar with Project Management Agile/Scrum methodologies. – Strong analytical, communication, technical teamwork and interpersonal skills. – Ability to foster working relationships with the team and client departments. – Prior experience working in heavily regulated healthcare environments Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least six, typically eight or more years related experience as a project team member of which at least two year have been in a leadership position, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
